This is especially frustrating when it takes a super long time for things, like the nursery can take longer than 12 hours so in order for it to actually work. We are located 2 minutes drive from Exit 5, off the M50 on the Ashbourne Road. In July 2014, we opened our purpose built Puppy Wing which increased our capacity and enables us to save an additional 500 puppies each year, and their Mammies of course! This new wing also features three low-stress kennels, for our residents who are finding kennel life a little overwhelming. The rehoming area leads to three sections at the back: kennels for dogs who are awaiting collection, a state of the art vet suite and intake kennels to hold dogs who have just been brought in until they are vet checked and assessed.
This is behind the main reception block, which also houses a training barn and staff offices.
The centre contains a long central block dedicated to rehoming with carefully designed, environmentally conscious kennels for the dogs in our care. We have plenty of dogs of all shapes and sizes small ones and tall ones, cheeky ones and squeaky ones, fluffy ones and scruffy ones, all ready to meet their new owners. In November 2009, our first centre in Ireland opened in Dublin.
